Performing Arts

District 742 students engage in the performing arts through the production of plays and musicals annually. Elementary students often experience residencies through the Minnesota Opera or children’s theater groups; moving into junior high, students can produce their own dramatic work as well as perform a play or musical each year. Tech and Apollo High Schools both produce two or three major works a year, including a major musical every other year.
