BREADCRUMB

6-12 E-Learning Days

Secondary E-Learning Days

On both scheduled E-Learning Days and weather-related E-Learning Days, students in grades 6-12 will learn their curriculum-aligned assignments posted on their teachers' Schoology pages.

When are the Scheduled E-Learning Days?

Please check the school calendar for scheduled E-Learning Days, which are marked in gray with a star symbol.

When are Weather-Related E-Learning Days Used?

The first weather-related closing will be a non-school day. Students will have the day off from school, and it will not be made up. The next five weather-related closings will be shifted to E-Learning Days as long as there is no interruption of power and/or internet service that would interfere with learning. The sixth and seventh weather-related closings will be non-school days and will not be made up. Additional weather-related school closing days and the makeup plan will be determined by the Superintendent in consultation with the School Board.

Attendance

Students will be counted present if they complete their work in Schoology by 3:15 p.m. on the E-Learning Day. They will have up to five days after the E-Learning Day to complete any missing work.

*Please be aware: if your child is sick and unable to complete E-Learning Day learning activities, a parent/guardian must still call the school attendance line to report an absence.

E-Learning Day Expectations

Middle and high school students learn from home by completing assignments posted on their teachers’ Schoology pages.

Students may contact their teachers through Schoology or through their district email addresses. Assignments will be posted by 10 a.m., and teachers will be available by email throughout the day to answer questions and provide guidance.
