E-Learning Days

When are Weather Days Used?

Days 1-3 weather-related closings will be non-school days. Students will have the day off from school, and it will not be made up.

Days 4-8 will access and complete a series of preassigned learning activities that will be made available to students in home packets or on the ISD 742 website when predicted weather conditions make school closing likely.

Additional weather-related school closing days and the makeup plan will be determined by the Superintendent in consultation with the School Board.

Student Learning

Early Childhood will use the district-provided choice boards.

K-5 students will not use devices for at-home learning. All learning will be on district choice boards.

6-8 students will not use devices for at-home learning. All learning will be on district choice boards.

Attendance

K-8: Students will be counted present if they return their work or choice board to their teacher within five days of the e-learning day.

*Please be aware: if your child is sick and unable to complete e-learning day learning activities, a parent/guardian must still call the school attendance line to report an absence.

Preschool

Preschool students will access and complete a series of preassigned learning activities that will be made available to students in home packets when predicted weather conditions make school closing likely.
