Graduation Rates

District 742’s 4-year graduation rates for 2024 show that Apollo saw a decrease of 1.1 points, and Tech saw an increase of 1.9 points, respectively.  McKinley, the district’s alternative learning center, posted a one-point increase over the 2023 school year. Overall, the 4-year graduation rate dropped 1.9 points over 2023.

A breakdown by all the federally reported student group categories for 2021 - 2024 is detailed below.

Students who identify in the following student groups saw increases in graduation rates in 2024:

  • Black/African American Learners – up 2.1 points
  • White - up .7 points
  • Two or more races - up 15.8 points
  • Free and Reduced Lunch - up 2.4 points
  • Non-EL - up 3.1 points
  • Non-SPED - up 3 points
  • Non-Free and Reduced Lunch - up 3.4 points

Students who identify in the following student groups saw decreases in graduation rates in 2024:

  • Asian - down 1.9 points
  • Hispanic – down 4.7 points
  • EL – down 2.7 points
  • Special Education – down .2 points
